Introduction to the Luptons

David Walker Lupton and Dorothy Ruland Lupton are retired from the Colorado State University Libraries. David and Dorothy are charter members of the South Platte Valley Historical Society.

David was elected as the first vice-president of the Society. David and Dorothy have been researching the life of Lancaster Platt Lupton for more than 25 years and have published two books on the subject: Volume 1 The Road to Delhi 1694 -1824 and Volume 2 The Military Years 1824 - 1836, which can be purchased from the Society. David and Dorothy are working on 2 additional volumes.
